Frequently asked questions

What is a car loan and how does it work?

Financing that lets you buy a new or used car by paying a down payment upfront, then repaying the rest in fixed monthly instalments over an agreed term.

How much down payment do I need?

It varies by bank, vehicle type and condition. Enter the down-payment percentage that suits you in the calculator and we will show the offers available for it.

What is the difference between flat and declining rates?

A flat rate is charged on the original financed amount for the whole term, while a declining rate is charged only on the remaining balance — so it is usually cheaper. We show both rates for each offer.

What does a sale restriction mean?

Some banks require that you do not sell the car before repaying the loan or part of it. Each offer page states this condition, and you can filter results to exclude it.

What documents do I need to apply?

They vary by bank and your income type (employee, professional, or self-employed); the full list appears on each loan's page.
